In his speech on the ninth anniversary of the Bahraini People’s revolution, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Ahmad Qassim said that since the global arrogant forces, particularly America and England, know that free elections in most Muslim countries will be in favor of an Islamic system and an Islamic government, it is impossible for them to allow the path of democracy, which they call for, to be open in any Muslim country because it will lead to the option of an Islamic system and an Islamic government, which is known by America.

In the speech he delivered in Imam Khomeini’s Higher Education Complex in the Holy City of Qom, on February 13, 2020, Ayatollah Qassim said, “Despite the widespread distortion of Islam by the groups that use Islamic slogans, in the political field, as well as the permanent distortion by the global arrogant forces, and despite the distortion of the general mentality and psychology of Muslims, it is very likely, if not a full certainty, that free voting in most Muslim countries will be in favor of an Islamic system and an Islamic government.”

“Democracy in any Muslim country is a path to Islam, and therefore, America cannot allow true democracy without interference and pressure in any Muslim country,” Ayatollah Qassim pointed out. “This is impossible, in my view, to be allowed by America.”

He concluded, “If we assume that America and other arrogant countries could agree on democracy in a Muslim country, they would not grant it their approval until they guarantee the arrival of the scum of that country, who do not care about religion, conscience or the country and who agree to become, along with their people and their nation the slaves of the foreign tyrantas a price for the fake throne.”

“How would global arrogant forces, led by America and England, accept this while they are witnessing the rapid growth of the whole nation’s faith in returning to Islam politically, in the falsehood of Western democracy, and in its aggressiveness, ignorance and failure,” Ayatollah Qassim stressed.

“The Islamic world is increasingly growing for two reasons, the greatness of Islam and its need for it, and the falsehood and sham of ignorance and democracy and their aggression against the nation,” Ayatollah Qassim further said. “So how can Islam be abandoned if it was given an opportunity?”
