Ayatollah Qassim commenting on what is being reported about emptying #Bahrain’s prisons

In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful, May peace and blessings be upon the most honourable of creation and messengers and his good & pure progeny

After the recent release – the largest in number – of political prisoners of conscience, whatever its motives, and which has left wide joy among the people, it is being promoted in popular circles that this step will be completed by emptying the prisons of the remaining political prisoners. If this had happened, it would have given the honourable families of the prisoners, all the revered citizens, and the conscientious in Bahrain and elsewhere, credibility regarding a corrective measure of this very worrying crisis

If this promotion doesnot come true, it would cause pain, mistrust, and overwhelming political discontent, resulting in a state of tension, turmoil, and an escalation of events that harms the interests of the entire nation, destabilises its security, and exhausts its citizens

It is hoped that the release of political prisoners will be completed, as this will have a serious, accelerated, and comprehensive corrective effect that resolves all existing political problems between the government and the people
