Bahrain regime raids house of Ayatollah Qassim under high orders
In a provocative and irrational step, Bahrain regime forces raided the house of Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Qassim, who is the most prominent spiritual leader in Bahrain. Masked civilian militias backed the security forces who terrorized the households and filmed their identities and searched the house this morning.
Al Wefaq National Islamic Society said the Authority takes responsibility for the consequences of this measure, considering the repeated attack can only be carried out under higher orders. Targeting such a respectable religious and national figure like Ayatollah Qassim is considered an attack against the Bahraini people.
The attack comes just hours after the mockery elections in Bahrain and which more than 70% of the people boycotted.
Al Wefaq said this unlawful measure reveals once again the moral, political and security crises in the country that is ruled with an iron fist, noting that such acts will not cover the failure of the meaningless elections that are unrepresentative of the people.
