In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

And prayers and peace be upon the noblest of prophets and messengers, our master and prophet Muhammad, and upon his pure and virtuous household.

I extend my sincere condolences to the Imam of the Age, the Awaited One "upon him be the best of prayers and peace, and may God hasten his noble relief," and to the great jurists and religious authorities, and to all the blessed scholarly assembly in the esteemed religious seminaries, on the occasion of the passing of the religious authority, the Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Muhammad Ishaq al-Fayyad, to the mercy of his Generous Lord. May God exalt his station and elevate his rank in the eternal paradise and everlasting bliss.

Indeed, the religious authorities and their truthful, active scholars are fortresses of Islam; through them it is preserved, through them it is known, through them its word is made manifest, and its side is strengthened.
