Ayatollah Qassem’s statement on the content of Friday Congregational Prayer in Bahrain – 4 July 2022

In the name of Allah the most Merciful

[Imam of Bahrain’s Shiite Muslims’ Friday Congregational Prayer], his Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Sanqour (may God protect him) is trustworthy and loyal to Islam.

His sermon, on the previous Friday, was not aimed at disrupting the Islamic duty of enjoining good and forbidding evil, nor even mitigating the confrontation of normalisation with the Zionist enemy. Rather, it was in the context of proposing various and influential means for confrontation, at the current period of time.

[O religious scholars of Bahrain] focus in your sermons on fostering the Islamic values, adhering to its commands, combating its prohibitions, and standing up to those who are hostile to it and whoever deceives it.
