Ayatollah Qassim extends condolences to the executions’ martyrs of the Arabian Peninsula: If religion had a tongue, the world would rife with resounding and deafening condemnations

In the name of of Allah the Merciful

How great is the sanctity of Muslim blood in accordance to Islam, and how disdainful Muslim rulers are about it! And how grave are the consequences of disregarding it, which is extremely precarious to the nation’s security, stability and psyche

This [disregard] was only after a prolonged history, during which the nation’s voice in the face of denial of evil and enjoining good, was silent. Indeed, the more this phenomenon becomes entrenched i.e. the longer the silence, the more dull the Islamic and human conscience; the escalating waves of injustice and the shedding of forbidden blood, the more and with no hindrance the way will be paved for the infringement of sanctities and corruption on earth

If religion had a speaking tongue like that of humans, all the horizons of the world would be filled with deafening denunciation of the massacre of executions against a large number of Muslims, from the Arabian Peninsula, merely because they demanded rights, which God has imposed on all who is in charge of ruling the people

May God have mercy on the martyrs of this massacre; elevates their rank in Heaven; strengthen their families’ hearts with patience and solace, as well as the hearts of the believing nation that shares them this affliction and its deep pain
