Ayatollah Qassem on the presence of unveiled American women at the Al-A’jam ma’tam

In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful

The American administration must perceive the weight of Islam among the Islamic nation, which comes above everything, and that dealing with Islam is equal to dealing with them as respecting it means respecting the Muslim peoples, and the opposite is true.

Great America has no value for our nation due to its anti-Islam behaviour. Thus, the attendance of the unveiled American women to the Husseini ma’tam is belittling to the weight of Islam; an encroachment against its holiness; an abolition of its position in its country (Bahrain) and among its people; and a bold aggressive step against its dignity and the dignity of the Muslims.

What has happened is an indecent step and/or a very blatant naivety, and/ or intended to show disdain for Islam and the Muslims.

Whoever takes charge of any of the Husseiniyas should not be the first to underestimate Imam Hussein (PBUH), the Husseini rituals and the funerals of Imam Hussein; aand the first to invade the sanctities of such religious places.

The American embassy and those complicit in the attendance of the unveiled American women at the Al-A’jam Al Kabeer ma’tam should condemn their reckless and hostile step.
