Ayatollah Qassim : No Building Without a Foundation – May 8, 2021
There is no building without a foundation, and there is no proper building without a proper foundation. The sale contract of a plot of land or a house requires a court testimony document.
One of the largest relations between the peoples of Earth is the relation of peoples and nations with their governments. Yet, one of the greatest form of chaos, in addition to the turmoil and destruction that it leads to, is the relationship between the people and its government that is not based on a constitution.
The wisest, fairest and most guided constitution is a constitution that pleases God and is sent by Him to govern His worshipers.
If people do not adopt the previously-mentioned constitution, they must have a constitution that is established by them and pleases them, and they must strive for it to be as close as possible to truth, justice and guidance in order to provide them with the theoretical basis for disciplining their relationships in terms of rights and duties.
Today, Bahrain lacks this approved constitution.
The basis of reform in it is having this constitution, which should be established by the pure popular will through a legislative institution produced by fair and free elections.
Indeed, there is neither wealth, nor stability, nor seriousness of reform without a just constitution that is accepted by those who are ruled, and no stability without that.
There is also the issue of the noble prisoners, who, from their entire existence, time and devotion, gave greatly to the people for the sake of its freedom, rights and dignity, and today they are in great distress.
The people cannot forget the prisoners’ freedom for a single moment, and cannot see any separation between their freedom and its freedom, and between their relief and its relief, so the demand is ongoing, strong and urgent.
Freedom for all, relief for all, and security, stability and comfort for the entire country.
