Ayatollah Qassim’s statement regarding banning loudspeakers: “A suspicious step… and it is required that no one of the believers abide by it
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Regarding the decision of the Endowments Directorate to prevent playing Qur’an, dua’a (supplication), and Husseini majlis via loudspeakers in the holy month, I do not think that any of the believers will abide by it, and this is a very good and required thing. It is better that the Endowments Directorate withdraws its decision because of its bad impact on the citizens, its offending interference in the religious rituals, and because it harms the spreading of Islam’s doctrine and religious principles, which allow the word of God Almighty to be spread in a better way.
The sounds of loudspeakers that are not above the moderate limit do no harm anyone, and they have been common for years and years.
In any case, the step is suspicious and is an indication of greater interference, and blocking this door is required.
May God reform everyone and unite the words over the truth.
Isa Ahmed Qassim
