217 Bahraini clerics: ” The existence of the Shi’ites of Bahrain is being targeted “

Over 200 clerics in Bahrain have released a statementsupporting an SOS call that was released Monday 18th

July,2016.

” we the signatories, completely support the clerics statement

in which they sent DISTRESS CALL to the international

community indicating that a fundamental faction ( Shi’ites ) of

the Bahraini community is viciously being targeted” said the

clerics in their statement.

Many areas from around Bahrain have also released similar

statements in support of the statement released by the

prominent religious figures in Bahrain.

” our beliefs, religious identity as well as our religious

manifestations are all being systematically targeted” the clerics
pointed out in their statement released Monday 18th July,2016.
The people of Bahrain urge the international community to

take serious stances against the systematic targeting of Shi’ites
