AlWefaq: tens of troops raid home of Ayatollah Qassim and terrorize the women
Tens of heavily armed troops, backed by masked civilian militias, raided the house of Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Qassim on Friday early morning hours in Diraz, west of the capital Manama. The forces broke doors in the house, vandalised its property and frightened the family’s children and women.
There were no protests at the time in the area. However, the forces gave no reason for their denounced behaviour and did not even ask for anything as to a reason for the raid.
The forces were heard yelling at the women inside the house who were ordered to stay in one room and remain silent. While the forces spent a long time in Sheikh Issa Qassim’s room while he was not home.
Al-Wefaq said the regime takes full responsibility of this dangerous line crossing behaviour that reflects its crazy crimes.
Al-Wefaq stressed that Bahrain needs international inquiries in all the regime’s inhumane crimes against the people.
