Ayatollah Qassim: Non Reform means Will seriously of torturing people.
Ayatollah Qassim: Non Reform means Will seriously of torturing people.
The second part of Friday Prayers Sermon for Ayatollah Shaikh Isa Ahmed Qassim Imam of the Grand Mosque in Duraz (Imam Al-Sadiq Garand Mosque) 29th March 2013.
The promised victory
Whenever God wanted to grant victory to a person, this person will definitely be the winner and whenever God wanted someone to be defeated, this one will not be able to win and will be defeated as God’s will cannot be turned down by any one or confronted by any condition or reason. How God’s will can be turned down when all the conditions and reasons are controlled by His will.
God says “there is no help except from Allah, the Exalted, and the Wise”, “If Allah helps you, none can overcome you: if He forsakes you, who is there after that that can help you? In Allah, then, let believers put their trust”. This is a foregone conclusion and reality which exists in the believer’s thought and feeling.
God also promised the believers victory as He says “And undoubtedly, Allah will necessarily help him who will help His religion; verily Allah is necessarily, Powerful, Dominant”, “And indeed We did send Messengers before you (O Muhammad ) to their own peoples. They came to them with clear proofs, then, We took vengeance on those who committed crimes (disbelief, setting partners in worship with Allah, sins, etc.), and (as for) the believers it was incumbent upon Us to help (them)”, and “you who believe ! if you help (the cause of) Allah, He will help you and make firm your feet”.
The first verse and the third verse from the abovementioned verses answer the following question:
Is the God’s promise of victory to the believers a conditional or unconditional?
The verses say that the promise is conditional. The condition is that people must defense Allah’s religion because of its connection to the life and Hereafter, and people will not have happiness, righteousness, and perfection in the life and afterlife if they did not take the rule of Allah’s religion, accept it, and respond to it.
Based on this, when is it believed that people defended Allah as the verse mentioned? This depends on many things.
- To make all the efforts and to do as much possible. To be giving and provide sacrifices.
- To take the most effective practical manner and not to choose different methods in a single view.
- The unity of ranks, which also, should be based on strong foundation.
- All the means, plans, steps, in all the stages must undergo the legal provisions.
- The flag is to be the flag of the rights and not another thing.
- Sincerity of purpose should be devoted to God.
- Not to think that the sacrifice for the sake of God is too much, and we have always to ask God to grant us victory and to depend on Him.
- There must be a stability on the road and not to retreat even if they victory did not come early or turned to be late. We have to do this because God is the only one who knows what are the good things and the negative effects and consequences that will come within the early victory, and because God is the only one who knows what are the good things that the late victory can bring, and the gifts that come within the long waiting and experience.
The best victory achieved for any person or group or nation is the victory over the self when there is an adherence to the right, righteousness on the road, and stability on the road of self’s perfection, God’s content, and determination to Heaven. This victory cannot be achieved unless you follow the religion, struggle yourself, and control your behaviors at the light of religion.
The worst defeat for any person or group or nation is when your self gets defeated, when your self abandons the will of goodness, gets vulnerable for the desires, and does the evil.
The victory which is followed by the oppression of those who were already oppressed is not a victory. When the oppressor becomes the oppressed and when the oppressed turns to be the oppressor, this thing is a victory but inside this victory is a defeat.
The victory which leads to corruption, tyranny, and delusion is a defeat. The victory which takes the winner away from God and makes him an arrogant is not a victory but a disaster and great defeat.
The believers who seek the victory shall not forget God in any objective or method. It is not one’s right to ask god victory – the early victory – if he or she forgets God in everything.
It is not the right of the people who are torn, hate each other, compete on pleasures, and take pride in the sacrifices they have presented, to expect the victory so easily.
When the day of victory leads people to be affected by the magic of life and its pleasure, and then leads them to kill each other for positions, and leads those who do not care about heaven to bloodshed only for the sake of positions, then this day is considered a misfortune, disaster, disgrace, and scandal. Such day offends Islam and hurts it.
The victory which does not prevent the winners from committing sins and adopting any method however bad it is, is not a victory for the believers.
The believers in Bahrain who seek to prevent the injustice and demand reform are keen on getting away from what angers God and taking into account the provisions of Sharee’ah, morality of religion, and norms of good society – which does not include the prohibited mixing between the two sexes and its aspects. They are also keen on providing the conditions of divine victory and avoiding the hatred and divisions among the rows. However, we should be stricter with ourselves and closer to the things that achieve the satisfaction of God, compassion, affection, and advocate rights and provide rights. We must rise above hurting each other as this will anger god, disperse rows, destroy the building, and then we will deserve the punishment.
We have to be coherent and we have to be keen on adopting the legitimate provisions in every area of our lives, including the area of the sexes’ mixing with others – as people shall not mix in obscene way that destroys the ethics.
Is there an intention for reform?!
The authority is either has the intention for reform -out of the primary or substantive premises-, either it does not have any intention nor orientation of this kind.
Regardless of what the authority harbors and the significance of evidences in reality of the two approaches – whether there is an orientation of reform or not -, the imposition of non-reform means a very serious matter which represent in the serious will of torturing people, and severely doubling his pain, due to the people insistence on the reform, and the impossibility of waiving it, as the necessity of the reform and urgency of this necessity.
The authority’s intransigent attitude of reform while the people insist on it, and its’ efforts to obstruct and retreat him demanding his rights requires it to exaggerate in its severity, and operates the sword in the necks, up to the level that obstruct this will and imposes on the people to stop his movement- as the authority imagines-,, though the will of the people is non-defeat, and his attitude is retractable.
A massacre of this kind would turned the homeland into a hell that make all the Community groups suffering, though such massacre have no place nowadays in a world that considered as one village, whatever the conscience of secularists politicians sag, the material interests sanctified, and the utilitarian doctrine prevailed which disbelieve in values, as if a million people were not equal in value to one barrel of oil -in the material culture and its sponsors who dominatethe world.
If there was a serious intention for reform, it would not be commensuration with the continued repression of the peaceful demonstrations and sustaining all aspects of aggravation and flooding residential areas with deadly gasses, which stand behind the extending the series of martyrs –Sitra martyr, Jaffar Al-Taweel was the last- God’s bless them and gather them with the prophets, messengers, Imams, and the righteous.
Another thing is not commensuration with the intention of reform –if it is exists-, which is the flow of summons for politicians symbols and members of the associations, for instance, Mr.Mjeed Milad and Sheikh Hussein Aldaihi. As well as the threats and notifications against those who have critic speeches like Sheikh Ali Salman. In addition to that, the dialogue status and its circumstances, and the uncompromising attitude of the authority as that considered one of the dialogue background and postulates.
All the tensions raised by the official media and the continuing trials and harsh sentences against peaceful dissidents do indicate for near or far intention of reform, as well as the serious will for it.
One of the worst manifestations of right of expression confiscation, and ugliest abominable is to criminalizes the pulpit religious for a just word which is a religious obligation, and for the denial of the clear images of injustice, persecution, and aspects of corruption; as well as preventing religion from saying his speech in this field even in the mosques.
Whether there is no intention for reform at all, or there is an intention for a deferred reform, or an undiminished one -that the authority imposed a tax upon, which it sees that it doesn’t get satisfied yet of the people blood, security, and pains, as well as the citizens brotherhood, the stability of the homeland and its fortune and interests-, the people is extremely insist to go on demanding reform in all peaceful legitimate means until achieving victory and rectifying the situation; in order to provide this land with comfort, security and stability! So all citizens –not some of them only- live the Islamic brotherhood and sincere patriotism under a high degree of justice, equality and equity in a refined atmosphere of freedom, pride and dignity.
