The political part of Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Ahmed Qassim

Undoubtedly, reform is good, and the alternative is evil. Political reform can put an end to crises in all countries, build a strong society and lead nations to prosperity. Rejection of reform is a choice of sustaining corruption, which leads to even more corruption. Not only this, rejecting reform abolishes any hope, and destroys every opportunity to rectify the situation and leads to agony of every soul, and its scourge indiscriminately drowns the country…

Anyone who has interest in corruption will fight for its stay. For this, there will be more killings, deportation, punishments, maltreatments and more arbitrary imprisonments. This will surely lead to weakened societies, dissolution and spread of hatred. This is an evil and any evil should not be the act of politics, and cannot be the directives of intellect or religion. Be merciful to this homeland, protect it from this evil, keep it away from destruction, and bring good and prosperity to it.

The political societies in Bahrain have declared their vision for the solution. They declared their principle of rejecting violence of any form. They repeatedly emphasize their adherence to non-violence. But, the threatening rhetoric and the language of escalation is dominating the tone and the language of the official side. This language has been clearly demonstrated through  imposing  collective punishment in Mehazza and Al-Eker.

A big thank you is not enough:

O’ people of Bahrain, what great people you are, by adhering to your religion, your sacrifices, your faithfulness and sincerity.. your peacefulness and maintaining your national unity. You are great by adhering  to your awareness.

What great people you are, men and women, youths, clerics, teachers, engineers , medics, lawyers and all your sectors.

Brothers and sisters, I am speechless to reach the level of thanking you deserve. I honestly admit it, I am fully confident that you are waiting for no one to thank you or to reward you, except from the one who owns the divine rewards and does not forget the deeds of anybody, men or women.

You are people of faith; who never accept rewards but from Allah, thank you and may victory be yours.

One more new challenge:

The bloodshed of Palestinians represents a new challenge for the will of the Arab regimes; as well as for the Arabian peoples.

It is a real challenge of honesty, faithfulness and independence. It is time to be serious. Gaza has been showered with all means of death and destruction. Will the Arabian peoples see the power of their regimes which is used against people to be used in support for Gaza and face the Israeli crimes?

At the end,

May Allah be merciful to the martyr of the prayers; Ali Abbas (16-years)…and all our martyrs. May Allah grant health and cure to our injured, and freedom to all our prisoners and bring all our beloved ones back to their homeland.
