Prominent scholars in Bahrain condemn violence

Prominent scholars in Bahrain issued a joint statement today condemning the attack that killed a number of policemen in Sitra yesterday, according to the Ministry of Interior

They said the attack is unaccepted and the patriotic citizens cannot support or commit such harmful actions to their country and nation. These actions result in nothing but sedition and troubles and lead to violence and insecurity, the statement added

The scholars also stressed for joint effort to stop the spread of hatred and incitement that push nations into dangerous situations

“The scholars will always be against any sedition or act of terrorism”, they said
